Cherish Social Health & Wellbeing

Cherish Social Health & Wellbeing
Latest News from their website:
Activities begin in October this year and run until September 2018, with more details to be confirmed shortly.
For this project, we are focussing on our signature service, Creative-ability. We want to build on our previous work and success. Papercrafting will be the dominant theme but we hope to be introducing other genres to meet the varied interests and experience of beneficiaries. Following their enthusiasm and commitment there will be short courses of workshops, enabling people in a supportive environment not only to acquire & build up skills but also to find companionship.
As a small, user led organisation, Cherish is dedicated to supporting disabled people by the provision of life skills coaching & mentoring, principally through Creative-ability. We are recognised for our training, experience and service delivery and respected by our beneficiaries and peers, for our authentic empathy.

CAP – Free Debt Counselling
Weekly Drop in- Thursday 9.30am- 12.30pm in The Pelham Coffee Lounge
Bexhill on Sea Debt Centre is run in partnership with Sidley Baptist Church and gives free debt help to anyone who feels weighed down by debt.
We exist because nobody should be held hostage by debt and poverty. But the truth is that they are rife in the UK. In a society where people live behind closed doors, thousands are desperately poor. Unable to feed their children, incapable of paying to heat their homes in winter, the grip of poverty is relentless. It breaks families apart and drives many to think that suicide is the only solution.
We are passionate about releasing people in our nation from a life sentence of debt, poverty and their causes. Through our services, which are all run through local churches, we are tackling poverty head on. Our vision is to bring freedom and good news to people in every community through 1,000 CAP projects by 2021.
